FALL IS ON THE WAY!

I found a picture, that to me screamed Fall!  My sister, Dolly, sent me more pictures from some old magazines...and one of them was it!  Here is my quick pencil sketch on canvas...
then I filled in a bit of detail...
then I added some of the Paintables background that I once again...got at that great yard sale!  I cut and pasted separate leaves all around her...
here is a close up of some of the background...
in my next post, I'll show her in living color and will also show the picture that I used as my inspiration!  Come back tomorrow to see!

Sigh, Autumn is my favourite season and this gorgeous painting already captures so much of its beauty. Wow, I just love the Paintables backgroung too - looking forward to seeing it completed.
